Half-Cock safety problem with Marlin 1894C rifle.

I sent my rifle to Marlin for repair (serial # 91060455) in February 2011. My letter explained the problem in detail. The gun was firing from the half-cock safety position. This should never happen. It's not just releasing the hammer but actually firing a bullet. Marlin Repair responded that they "could not duplicate customers concern". Marlin replaced the hammer, sear, trigger and hammer spring. The returned rifle exhibits the same problem. (RE00224090)

I was told to send the gun back again and I will. I don't want this rifle back. I want a new rifle that works properly. I hope Marlin keeps this one and tells the designers to figure out what's going wrong. I like the 1894 model and hope this problem is unique to my gun.

Perhaps my video will convince Marlin that this gun represents a danger to me and a potential liability problem for the company.

Here's a second video showing slowly and in detail how the failure occurs. Remember, this rifle has already been "repaired" by Marlin.
